Invoice Studio privacy policy
Effective November 4, 2026. Invoice Studio is an internal business application operated by SHP Inc. at invoices.somersethouse.com.
Information used
The application stores authorized staff email addresses, account roles, password hashes and sign-in security information. After an administrator authorizes QuickBooks access, it reads the connected SHP company profile and requested invoices, including customer names, billing and shipping addresses, descriptions, quantities, prices, totals, balances, dates and invoice payment links. Saved SpecialtySoft order and frame references may accompany an invoice.
Purpose and access
This information is used to prepare and review SHP invoice previews and PDFs. Invoice information is available only after staff sign-in. Administrators manage invitations, staff access and the QuickBooks connection. The application is not an open registration service and does not sell information or use advertising analytics.
Storage and security
Information is stored on an SHP-controlled server in the United States. Passwords are hashed using ASP.NET Core Identity. QuickBooks credentials and tokens are encrypted using Windows-protected application keys. HTTPS protects connections. Essential sign-in cookies support authentication; a separate short-lived cookie protects the QuickBooks authorization request. SHP controls retention of accounts, saved invoices, operational logs and backups. Saved copies are not automatically deleted when QuickBooks is disconnected.
QuickBooks and payments
QuickBooks data is read from Intuit after administrator authorization. The app does not create, edit, delete or email QuickBooks invoices, mark them paid, or submit payments. Payment buttons and QR codes open the existing Intuit payment page. Card and bank payment information is entered with Intuit, not collected by Invoice Studio. Intuit's own privacy policy applies to its services.
